Gone are the days when people or business man used banners in public areas to attract customers. Now, in this digital world, internet has become the most effective mean to attract customers and increase your sale directly. But for this you need a proper website and that too is fully search engine optimized and have traffic. You can create website yourself or can hire a professional to do it for you. There are some pre-requirements to make your website visible to your customers on internet. One is Domain and other is Web hosting.
Domain Name: A domain name is address to your business on internet. Customer type your domain name and comes to your online store. This is the first requirement and it must be chose precisely according to your business. For example- if you have business of tree cutting, your domain should be www.treecutting.com. It should reflect your main business goal. You can buy domain from Go Daddy or any other better domain selling website. By visit Go Daddy, you can register yourself as a business on the internet. Like we book a land before construction. Go Daddy acts a registrar. It has option to book your domain for around 5 years. If you are experienced enough , you can opt for this or you can go for one year plan. Applying a coupon code enables you to get a discount on your purchased domain.
Web Hosting: After registration of domain name, you need some space on internet to put your files and this process comes under web hosting. Although, Go Daddy gives web hosting services but I recommend you to go for some better hosting platform provided by Hostgator.com or Bluehost.com. Both these companies give excellent hosting package and at good price. Though you can choose a much cheaper option too, but for stability and other security reasons, opting for cheaper option can be dangerous.
Linking Domain Name with Hosting Account:
