With the emerge of 4G technology, we can see a dramatically large use of internet. People often use mobile phone internet to connect to their computer or laptop system. But now, it is also possible to use a pc internet connection to run internet on Android phones. This process is termed as “Reverse Tethering”. It is quite useful when you are on a trip and there is no WiFi connection or no internet data for mobile phones.
Pre-requirement to use computer internet:
1. Windows computer that has internet connection.
2. Android phone with version 4.2.2 or above.
3. Usb data cable to connect both.
How to Connect:
1. First of all you need to connect your mobile phone with the computer system via. USB cable.
2. After that go to Settings->Developer Option->USB Debugging.
3. Click and turn on USB debugging and exit from developer option.
4. Click back and now go to Wireless and Networks option and turn on USB internet option.
5. In the next step, you have to select PC System version. Tap Unspecified option and select the Windows version.
6. Next step is to tap Done button. Finally now, you are connected to PC.
7. Now move on to your PC and in run box type ncpa.cpl. This command will open Network Connection Window. There you can see Local Area Connection 2 with Description Remote NDIS based Internet Sharing.
8. Again go to your PC internet connection’s properties and click on Sharing tab.
9. Select Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection. In home network connection drop down menu, select your mobile connection showing in PC.
10. Now go to your Android phone and see that the internet is connected to the phone and you can enjoy and surf there.
